I began my career in ELV and ICT systems, building my foundation through hands-on engineering and project-site experience. Over the years, I progressed from Project Engineer to Senior Project Engineer and Project Manager, taking increasing responsibility for complex projects across the UAE and India.

My experience spans hospitality, residential, commercial, institutional, infrastructure and specialised facilities, with projects involving CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barriers, ANPR, Intercom, Structured Cabling, Networks, Public Address, IPTV, Fire Alarm and other ELV systems.

​

As my career progressed, my role evolved from managing individual technical activities to taking responsibility for end-to-end project delivery — from initiation and planning through procurement, execution, coordination, testing, commissioning and final handover.

My strength is the ability to bring together technical understanding, project management and practical execution.

My project experience has given me an understanding not only of individual systems, but also of their coordination, interfaces, installation, testing, commissioning and integration within a larger project environment.

I believe effective project management is not simply about tracking tasks and updating schedules.

It is about creating an environment where people understand the objective, responsibilities are clear, information flows effectively and problems are addressed early.

My approach is:

I prefer proactive communication and early issue identification rather than waiting for problems to escalate.

I work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, subcontractors and internal teams to align expectations and keep the project moving towards its objectives.

I naturally approach problems by asking:

What is the actual problem?
Why is it happening?
What is within our control?
What is the most practical solution?

Rather than immediately looking for someone to blame, I focus on understanding the root cause, project impact and available options.

​

My objective is to convert problems into clear actions, responsible owners and measurable outcomes.

​

This approach is particularly important in ELV projects, where technical, procurement, commercial, site and stakeholder issues are often interconnected.

One of my strongest professional interests is systems thinking.

I don't look at a project as a collection of isolated tasks. I look at how different functions and stakeholders connect with and influence each other.

I believe creativity has an important place in project management.

For me, creativity is not limited to visual design. It is the ability to look at an existing situation differently and create a practical alternative.

My independent laundry and boutique projects, for example, allowed me to apply project planning, workflow design, space utilisation, operational thinking and creativity outside my conventional ELV career.
